We offer young people aged 11-16 opportunities during school holidays to get involved in a 2 hour workshop and create something inspired by our exhibitions, themes and objects to take home. Past activities include designing your own wallpaper designs, baking lavender biscuits and creating your own Art Deco lampshade.
All activities are free and are programmed by our Youth Advisory Panel. Workshop places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis 30 minutes before each activity.

We offer young people aged 13-24 weekend taster sessions, which usually last 3-4 hours. The workshops allow you to creatively explore our exhibitions, themes and collections and learn new skills. Past workshops include creating a short light-painting animation, taking photographs and creating a digital mosaic and a creative writing workshop.
All activities are free and light refreshments are provided. These workshops are programmed by our Youth Advisory Panel. Places are pre-booked in advance of the workshop.
