View our Christmas menu and drinks menu. We offer smaller sized portions of soups and sandwiches for children.

For large groups of more than ten people please call or email. It is not essential to book unless you are a large group.

Further information about Group visits can be found on the Group Visit Information page

The café can also be hired for private parties, receptions and events outside the museums public opening hours.

Visit us for Christmas Past and come to our Epiphany Celebration and Closing Party on the weekend of 6 and 7 January to enjoy street food, winter cocktails and live music as we say farewell to Christmas and to the museum, which will close on 7 January 2018 for almost two years for our exciting £18m development project, Unlocking the Geffrye. Although the main museum building and period gardens will be closed, there will still be plenty of reasons to come to the Geffrye. Throughout closure we will run a programme of events, activities and installations in our front gardens. The restored almshouse will also be open for tours on certain dates throughout the year.
