Recent Flower Pot People workshop at the Geffrye
On the first Saturday of every month the Geffrye offers a range of fun activities, including quizzes (all ages) and creative crafts (suitable for young people aged 5 - 16). Workshops run from 10.30am - 12.30pm and 2.00 - 4.00pm. The quiz desk is open all afternoon and all activities are free. All children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult. Create a summer lantern to hang in your home or garden.
Use recycled materials to make a giant 3D night-time garden.
Use plants and herbs from the gardens to make hand creams and face packs.
A fun and interactive session exploring the Geffrye's gardens.
Bake biscuits and decorate a lunchbox to take them home in.
Wondrous stories exploring the new season.
Summer fun for all ages, both inside the museum and in the gardens, between 12noon - 5.00pm. Refreshments and lunch are available in the restaurant or bring a picnic to eat on the grass. Admission and all family activities are free.

Listen to rock and roll music and learn fifties-style dances with the Nonsuch Dance Company, play party games such as pin the tail on the donkey, explore 1950s objects and make badges inspired by patterns in our mid-century room. There will also be the opportunity to watch a film and attend an Interior Lives exhibition talk at 2.30pm.
A family day with a garden games theme: make a cup and ball game, enjoy summer-time music with The Toots, listen to stories and play a variety of indoor and outdoor games.
