Saturday Specials and Family Days

On the first Saturday of every month the Geffrye offers a range of fun activities, including quizzes (all ages) and creative crafts (suitable for young people aged 5 - 11). Workshops run from 10.30am - 12.30pm and 2.00 - 4.00pm. The quiz desk and feely box is open all afternoon and all activities are free. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis 30 minutes prior to the workshop. For details of our half-term activities please see Children.

Asian women's workshop

Join in creative craft workshops inspired by spices and flowers, and listen to stories and music from across Asia. To celebrate the museum's Asian Womens' Project.

Easter family day 2009

  • Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 April, 10.30am - 4.30pm


Two fun-filled days for all ages: traditional springtime dancing, craft workshops, ‘springy’ stories and an Easter treasure hunt.
