- Entrance and gardens are ramped and fully accessible for wheelchairs.
- Facilities include adapted toilet, baby-changing room and lift.
- Please note that the Restored Historic Almshouse is not accessible for wheelchairs.
- There are a limited number of parking bays for disabled drivers in front of the museum available for up to 3 hours between 10am-4pm.
- Hoxton Station, situated behind the museum on Geffrye Street, has step-free access throughout the station.
- Induction loop in Lecture room and Art rooms.

Museum Audio Guide
The Period Room Highlights Tour provides fascinating insights into the main displays. Available from the front desk for £2.00. A free version of this tour is available for blind and partially sighted visitors. Neck loop and transcript available on request for deaf and hearing impaired visitors.

New Audio Tour for Children and Families
We have launched a new audio tour for children and families that takes a humorous look at the period rooms and their imaginary inhabitants, 'The Geffryes'. The tours are free and last approximately 30 minutes. Please ask for this tour at the front desk.
