Victorian object handling session
We welcome pupils from special schools of all ages and abilities and are experienced in working with groups with complex needs. Sessions for pupils with Special Educational Needs aim to encourage communication and cognitive skills and develop auditory and visual memory.
The museum has an extensive handling collective of historic and multi-sensory objects. We also support the National Curriculum programmes of study in History, Art & Design, Citizenship and Literacy.
