Primary Schools' sessions

Primary school class at the Geffrye Museum

A primary school class visiting the Geffrye - photography Em Fitzgerald

Bring your class to the Geffrye, one of London's most friendly and enjoyable museums, and explore the wealth of historical and cultural influences which have affected urban middle-class living rooms and gardens for the past 400 years. Education is a top priority at the Geffrye, and our small scale and direct approach make us very accessible for school groups of all types and sizes.

We are an experienced team of museum professionals committed to delivering sessions which meet your individual class needs, whilst at the same time addressing National Curriculum and QCA requirements.
Read more about our sessions on Tudors, Victorians, 20th Century, Art and Design, Geography and Science, The Fire of London and Storytelling, or download our Schools Primary Programme Summer 2012 here. Click here for Summer 2012 school specials.

A practical element is included in all our sessions. We welcome children of all ages and abilities, including those from special schools. Please ring to discuss the special educational needs of your children and how we can work together to provide the best session for your class. We look forward to seeing you this year.
