Primary Schools' sessions
Enjoy a day stepping back through the centuries in the Geffrye's period living rooms and gardens with your class.
All our schools sessions are led by the museum's experts, and our small scale and direct approach make us very accessible for school groups of all types, ages and abilities, including special schools.
We've been supporting teachers with learning outside the classroom for over 20 years and offer a range of primary school sessions to engage and inspire children to explore the wealth of historical and cultural influences which affect our homes and lives today. Our staff lead learning in the galleries and gardens, and include practical elements in all our sessions.
Our experienced team of museum professionals are committed to delivering sessions which meet your individual class needs, while addressing National Curriculum and QCA requirements.
Please ring to discuss the educational and special needs of your children and how we can work together to provide the best session for your class. We look forward to welcoming you this year.
