Haggeston year 10 Art Group in the period gardens

This is our newly launched programme for Secondary pupils. We offer unique resources to support a variety of work at Key Stages 3-5, including a core programme for History, Art and Design, Design and Technology and English in addition to our cross-curricular 'tailor made' sessions.

The Geffrye is the ideal place to support students' Personal Learning and Thinking Skills. Each session will include activities to support pupils' enquiry, creative thinking, reflection, participation and team work skills.

Your group will be able to contextualise primary source material and handling objects in front of our period rooms and extend their knowledge through investigation and creative activity.

Our experienced team of museum professionals offer lively, interactive and multi-sensory sessions which provide the perfect opportunity for learning and inspiration outside the classroom.

Sessions can be adapted to suit your groups’ learning needs and we are happy to fit in with your approach if you are working on a particular project.

Contact the Education Officer for Schools to discuss your requirements:
Emma Dunn on 020 7739 9893 or by email: edunn@geffrye-museum.org.uk
