Our access programme includes activities for adults with learning disabilities, adults with mental health problems, Deaf visitors or blind or partially sighted people.
We offer events for Deaf visitors four times per year. These events are led by Deaf artists and tour guides and usually include a talk, exhibition tour, craft activity and plenty of social time. To find out more, or join our mailing list please contact Sarah Fairbairn: sfairbairn@geffrye-museum.org.uk.
For blind and partially sighted visitors we offer a programme of monthly multi-sensory talks, object handling sessions or craft activities. To find out more, or join our mailing list please contact Sarah Fairbairn: sfairbairn@geffrye-museum.org.uk.
We welcome group visits from adults with learning disabilities or adults with mental health problems. A range of activities inspired by the museum’s rooms and gardens can be tailored to your group’s needs. Activities can include a garden tour and herb planting session, drawing and painting workshops in our tranquil gardens, craft activities or an interactive trail around the museum.
