Learning

Learning in the 1870 drawing room
Learning and education has always been, and continues to be, a priority at the Geffrye, an essential and central part of the museum's purpose. Our professional team in the Learning and Education Department is specifically responsible for working with the broadest public to develop and deliver a wide range of imaginative and high quality learning and engagement programmes for people of all ages and abilities.
Our award-winning programmes include a full range of services for schools, FE/HE students, older people, communities and visitors with additional needs. There is a regular programme of activities including art and craft workshops, storytelling, and music for children and their families. We run events such as study days, open evenings, talks and craft workshops for adults, and creative projects for young people.
We look forward to welcoming you to an event at the Geffrye soon.
