Applications are invited for the temporary full-time post of Documentation Assistant.
The purpose of this post is to assist in the development of online access to the collections and to prepare and process data and images for web publication. In addition, the successful applicant will assist with the documentation of the Geffrye Museum’s collection, library and archive and the systems administration of the associated databases. A good first degree and at least one year’s experience of working in the field of collections documentation and digitisation is essential for this role.
The initial appointment will be to 31 March 2009 and thereafter subject to funding.
This position is funded under the Renaissance in the Regions scheme by Renaissance London.
